Tamer ("we", "our", or "the app") is a habit-tracking application designed to help you build self-discipline. Your privacy is fundamental to our design. This policy explains how we handle your information.
Tamer is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or therapy service. It does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you are experiencing distress or mental health concerns, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. See our Terms & Conditions for full details.
Tamer stores all personal habit data — session logs, streak counts, goals, and personal reasons — exclusively on your device using iOS local storage (UserDefaults and SwiftData). This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Tamer integrates the following third-party services that may collect limited, anonymized data:
Apple StoreKit — Processes in-app subscriptions. Apple handles all payment data under their own Privacy Policy.
Superwall — Manages our paywall experience. Superwall may collect anonymized paywall interaction analytics (e.g., whether a paywall was viewed or dismissed). No personal habit data is shared. See Superwall's Privacy Policy.
AppsFlyer — Provides attribution and app analytics. AppsFlyer may collect: device identifier (IDFV), app usage events (e.g., app opens, subscription events), purchase data, and device metadata (OS version, device model). No personal habit data is shared with AppsFlyer. See AppsFlyer's Privacy Policy.
All habit-related data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app, all local data is permanently erased. We do not maintain backups of your personal data.
Tamer is not intended for use by children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Since your data stays on your device, it benefits from iOS's built-in security features including device encryption and app sandboxing. Tamer also supports Face ID and passcode lock for additional privacy.
Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete all data at any time by deleting the app.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
